Mashreq, one of the UAE leading National financial institutions recently hosted its 8th Mashreqchallenge Golf Tournament, which took place at the Montgomery Golf Club in Emirates Hills.
The one-day event which is part of Mashreq’s activities and initiatives was followed by prizes distribution ceremony and trophies were given away to top individuals and teams that achieved the highest Stableford scores.
Mashreq participates in Careers UAE 2011
Mashreq, one of the UAE's leading financial institutions, announced its participation in the 11th annual Careers Show Exhibition (Careers UAE), the primary recruitment, education and training event geared exclusively at UAE Nationals. This is in line with the bank’s various initiatives to boost Emiratisation initiative in the banking sector at the annual exhibition, which takes place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition centre (DICEC) from 21 to 23 March 2011.
Mashreq’s stand SAA-3 located in Sheikh Saeed Hall is expected to attract large number of applicants interested to join the banking industry.

Mashreq offers postponements for September 2010 monthly installment
On the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan and to share the joy and blessings of the month with its customer, Mashreq is offering a monthly postponement plan for the month of September 2010 for UAE Nationals and expatriates on it’s personal loan product.
The postponement of installment program is applicable to all eligible individual customers who have a personal loan with the bank. Mashreq customers will be offered postponement for the month of September 2010, implying that they are not expected to make any payment. Customers can walk into the extensive network of Mashreq branch across the UAE to avail the offer and qualify for the deferment.
Mashreq recruits UAE National graduates
In line with its commitment to profoundly support and drive Emaratisation in the banking sector, Mashreq announced the recruitment of 13 UAE Nationals. The bank’s Management Trainee Program ‘Mashreq Al Mustaqbal’ is aimed to introduce skilled and talented of UAE National graduates into the bank across different businesses and fast track their growth to take up managerial positions.
In a recent study, it has shown that 58% of Emarati women are employed in the banking sector. The new recruits are mandated to undergo an intensive training program that is customized for their roles and offers a combination of induction, product knowledge, system training, customer service and other soft skills.
Mashreq Assist expands to Abu Dhabi
Mashreq announced the expansion of its unique debt counselling service ‘Mashreq Assist’, to Abu Dhabi. The move comes from the bank’s commitment to be more accessible and offer convenient banking solutions to all its customers throughout the UAE. The service, a first of its kind service in the UAE, offers tailor-made financial solutions to help Mashreq customers ease financial stress and anxieties.
The facility, located within the Al Mushrif branch on Shk Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St., will provide individuals, SME’s and businesses within the emirate, a friendly, safe and secure location through which they can obtain specialist debt counselling advice regarding their outstanding borrowings and offering restructuring solutions.
